A Slice of Death - a Cosy Crime story

Set in the 1960s, the novel opens at a typical west country small village fete.

The following day , one of the village's most loved elderly denizems is found dead.

When it becomes clear that this is murder, the victim's daughter, Yvonne (a spinster lady with an interesting past) and grand-daughter Jennie (a second-year student at the local university) vow to find the perpetrator.

They enlist the help of friends and colleagues, and gradually peel back the layers of village life to discover the culprit. They akso have the er of new PC Logan, who takes more than a bit of a shine to Jennie.

But there is also something going on at the local Estate, and PC Logan has to spend some of his time investigating what's going on there.

Status: About 3/4 written - deep into some background research at the moment. I love this, but it does take time away from the main event!!
