Play Reviews

This is a list of the plays my play reading group have read. As a group of 12 (with a waiting list!), I have been limited in selecting plays with as many library lending copies as possible.

We borrow our books from NewSPAL, Surrey’s Performing Arts library, at a modest hire fee of just over £1 per copy per month. I collect our books from the library in Ewell, but they run an excellent postal delivery and return service (about £15 for both ways). That adds to the cost, of course, but is far better than having to buy copies. We read half a play per week, during term time. Many groups would find this too much, and some would wish to get through a whole play in one session (we chat far too much for that to be possible!)
